Tulum Mayan ruins are located 128 km from the city of Cancun. It is considered a gem of Mexico, found along the Caribbean Sea in the Riviera Maya. It is believed that the original name was Zama (meaning sunrise) due to its view of a dramatic daily sunrise due to its geographic location. Tulum is divided into three areas: the Mayan ruins of Tulum, the hotel zone and the village of Tulum. You are privileged to get a great touch of Mexico and the heritage from our guides. Tulum was built as a fortress city overlooking the Caribbean. The important structures here include the Castillo, a former Temple and the Temple of the Frescoes with a 13th-century wall painting. Standing on the tallest Cliff along the Caribbean coast, Tulum is a must see. You are privileged to get a great touch of Mexico and the heritage from our guides. Our guides will offer you a complete explanation of the Mayan Heritage, Culture, and Architecture involving the astronomy and Cosmovision that this great Mayan Civilization developed. After enjoying a complete tour of Tulum, enjoy snorkeling in the coral reef along the Tulum Coast side next to the Tulum ruins. The area still has plenty of marine wildlife due to the preservation of the Coral reefs in this area. Enjoy a short boat ride to the reef including an Oceanside view of the Tulum ruins atop the cliff.
Due to the LIMITED CAPACITY of passenger availability for small group tours or private tours, a cancellation fee of 20% is charged when canceling once reservations and payment have been made and confirmed. If you cancel at least 7 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is 30% cancellation fee. If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50% cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 % cancellation fee. RESCHEDULING POLICY: If you need to reschedule your tour date, you must notify via email at Info@cancuntoursunlimited.com or call at +1 (801) 704-0792 with a minimum of two days in advance of your scheduled tour and it is subject to availability. A 10% rescheduling fee will apply. We will notify you via email prior to your tour date if the tour must be cancelled for any reason including weather conditions of which you’ll receive a full refund or be able to reschedule your trip with no penalty.
